2/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13554 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING CALIFORNIA <br /> STATE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT TO PURCHASE CERTAIN <br /> HEREIN DESCRIBED VEHICLES AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section 2,80 and <br />Public Contracts Code Section 10324, this Council does hereby authorize and <br />request the Office of Procurement of the State of California to purchase under <br />Contract No. 1-99-23-14-01, on behalf of the City of Redwood City, certain <br />materials, supplies and equipment, to wit: seven (7) 1999 Model CHP Class "E" <br />Special Service Police Vehicles conforming to specifications of the Department <br />of Public Works Services of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2.
