<br />EP 11 1989 ORIGINAL <br /> <br />"111Q(} <br />Rf~Q.l.!!IIQN.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br />HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECTS, INC. FOR SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. is presently engaged in the <br /> <br />operation of a Shared Housing Program and desires to conduct a shared housing <br />program for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. has requested financial assistance <br /> <br />in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1989, and ending June 30, 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br />to allocate to Human Investment Project, Inc. the sum of Forty Thousand and <br />No/IOO Dollars ($40,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc., <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/28/89), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc., a copy of which agreement is <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
