<br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />(7-15-89) <br /> <br />AUG 2 1 \989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1111 6 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS FOR YOUTH, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Friends For Youth has been established for the principal <br />purpose of providing volunteer intervention services to troubled youth <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Friends For Youth, Inc. has requested financial assistance <br /> <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1989 and ending June 30, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay to Friends For Youth, Inc. the sum of TWO-THOUSAND, FIVE- <br /> <br />HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,500.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Friends For Youth, Inc. <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />
