4/5/99 <br /> -- ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13595 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR AN AUTOMATIC GATE <br /> SYSTEM FOR FIRE STATION NO. 9 PARKING LOT <br /> EXTENSION PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for an <br />automatic gate system for Fire Station No. 9 - Parking Lot Extension Project in <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, R & S Erection of San Mateo, Inc. of Burlingame, California, <br />was the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to accept the bid of R & S Erection of San Mateo, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of R & S Erection of San Mateo, Inc., in the total amount of <br /> Sixteen Thousand Nineteen and No/100 Dollars ($16,019.00), computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder's proposal dated March 11, 1999, is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
