That certain agreement entitled "Joint Powers Agreement <br /> <br />Establishing the San Mateo Cable Television Authority (SAMCAT)", <br /> <br />establishing a joint exercise of powers authority pursuant to <br /> <br />Government Code Sections 6500 et seq. for certain purposes <br /> <br />relating to the operation and activities of cable television <br /> <br />businesses and facilities, a copy of which agreement is attached <br /> <br />hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br /> <br />respectively, said agreement substantially in the form of Exhibit <br /> <br />A for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />circulate an original counterpart or counterparts signed by the <br /> <br />foregoing officers to other proposed signatories to said <br /> <br />agreement, and upon execution of said agreement by all parties, <br /> <br />to retain an original fully-executed counterpart <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
