0 R I G I N A L 4/5/99 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13593 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br /> OF LIBRARY SHELVING AT THE MAIN LIBRARY AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this <br />Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code <br />of the City of Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter <br />described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Main Library located at 1044 Middlefield Road requires <br />the addition of new various sized shelving to match the existing shelving <br />previously installed when the Library was constructed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase and installation <br />of Aetnastak shelving at tl~e Main Library in an amount not to exceed Thirty-six <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred Six No/100 Dollars ($36,206.00); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
