<br />MJP:mmg oh/07/89 (#251008) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUN 1 2 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND DOKKEN <br />ENGINEERING RELATING TO ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF VETERANS BOULEVARD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />..~ 'i 067 <br />';~ . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to replace the Veterans Boulevard Bridge <br /> <br />at Redwood Creek, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Ci ty desires <br /> <br />to engage Dokken Engineering, <br /> <br />Sacramento, California for certain services, including, but not <br /> <br />limi ted to, bidding assistance and engineering services during <br /> <br />construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dokken Engineering has represented to City that it <br /> <br />is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all of said <br /> <br />services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Engineering Services for <br /> <br />Construction of - Veterans Boulevard Bridge Replacement Project _ <br /> <br />Redwood City, California", (form dated 06/07/89), a copy of which <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
