<br />MJp:mmg o~/07/89 (#25/009) <br /> <br />.O';-"G'''I1' \ <br />f\ I u'~ tL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.1 <br /> <br />066 <br /> <br />JUN 1 2 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR VETERANS BOULEVARD BRIDGE <br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to replace the Veterans Boulevard Bridge <br /> <br />at Redwood Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton for <br /> <br />certain services, including, but not limited to, construction <br /> <br />management services, daily inspections, and other services during <br /> <br />construction of said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, KennedylJenkslChilton has represented to City <br /> <br />that it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform those <br /> <br />services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Construction Management <br /> <br />Engineering Services <br /> <br />Veterans Boulevard Bridge Replacement <br /> <br />Project - Redwood City, California" <br /> <br />(form dated 06/07/89), a <br /> <br />copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
