J, .... 041 <br /> <br />MAY 2 2 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASING OF ONE ASPHALT PAVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase, <br /> <br />of one asphalt paver; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, five (5) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of said paver; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Great West Equipment Company, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Great <br /> <br />West Equipment Company, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Great West Equipment Company, Inc., in the <br /> <br />sum of Twenty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-nine and NO/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($27,529.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated March 31, 1989 for the sale of one asphalt paver <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said one asphalt paver in accordance with the <br /> <br />above mentioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />3.
