<br />MJP:d~~ 04/12/89 (046/24) <br /> <br />ORIGlNAL <br /> <br />N O. l.LO 2 3 APR 1''"/ 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />STATIONARY /MOBILE BREATHING AIR BOTTLE RECHARGING <br />SYSTEM; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has caused to be published a public <br />notice inviting bids for one (1) stationary/mobile breathing air <br /> <br />bottle recharging system in a newspaper of general circulation <br /> <br />within the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice, two (2) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bauer Compressors, Inc., Hayward, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsive bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bauer Compressors, Inc., Hayward, California <br /> <br />for the sale of one (1) stationary/mobile breathing air bottle <br /> <br />recharging system at a total bid price of Forty-nine Thousand One <br /> <br />Hundred Seventy-five and 59/100 Dollars ($49,175.59) computed in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated March 30, 1989, as <br /> <br />corrected, is hereby accepted; and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsive bidder for said <br /> <br />stationary/mobile breathing air bottle recharging system. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said System in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />11023 <br />
