<br />MJP:mw~ 2/23/89 (#23/084) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />------ <br /> <br />""./ FEB 27 ' <br />No.1 0991 Ol\iUliU-\L <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of two (2) trucks for various City departments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, four (4) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of these vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fremont Ford, Fremont, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsive bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Fremont Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fremont Ford, in the sum of Twenty-seven <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />One <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Thirty-two <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />31/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($27,l32.31), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />January 31, 1989, for the sale of two (2) trucks for various City <br /> <br />departments is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />vehicles <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />10991 <br />
