<br />DAS:m <br /> <br />1/19/89 (#23/067) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 2.] () 977 <br /> <br />or<lG!NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FEB 6 1989 <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON RELATING TO FIELD ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES FOR WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR No.2, AT REDWOOD <br />SHORES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to construct certain water storage <br /> <br />reservoir improvements to its water system at Redwood Shores; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Kennedy/Jenks /Chil ton for <br /> <br />certain services, including, but not limited to, construction <br /> <br />management services, daily inspections, and other services during <br /> <br />construction of said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton has represented to City <br /> <br />that it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform those <br /> <br />services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Construction Management <br /> <br />Engineering Services - Water Storage Reservoir No.2, Redwood <br /> <br />Shores - Redwood City, California" <br /> <br />(form dated 1/19/89), a copy <br /> <br />of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />10977 <br />
