<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />DES:mmn 12/30/88 (#24/018) <br />DES:~ 01/09/89R(#24/018) <br /> <br />JAN ,9 1989 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />NQ.1-O-9.-5-.6 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER AND <br />ACCEPTING BID FOR MAINTENANCE OF TELEMETRY SYSTEM FOR <br />STORM WATER AND SEWER SERVICES FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY <br />1, 1989 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1989 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />bids were solicited for maintenance of the water telemetry system <br /> <br />for the storm water and sewer systems for the period January 1, <br /> <br />1989 through December 31, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Telstar Instruments, Inc., of Concord, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and this Council desires to <br /> <br />accept said bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Telstar Instruments, Inc., of Concord, <br /> <br />California, in the total amount of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred <br /> <br />Eight and No/I00 Dollars ($15,808.00) for the maintenance of the <br /> <br />City's water telemetry system for storm water and sewer services <br /> <br />for calendar year 1989, submitted in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated December 29, 1988, is hereby accepted, <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said maintenance work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute documents (in form approved by the City Attorney) for the <br /> <br />10956 <br />
