<br />OiliGiNAL <br />AUS 2 2 I98B <br /> <br />(7/15/88) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10881 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SEQUOIA YMCA (YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES AND <br />FAIR OAKS OUTREACH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) has been established for the principal purpose of diverting <br /> <br />youth from the Juvenile Justice system and to provide a delinquency <br /> <br />prevention capability for families and agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1,1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) the sum of TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTEEN AND <br /> <br />NO/IOO DOLLARS ($27,416.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth <br /> <br />& Family Services and Fair Oaks Outreach) and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10881 <br />
