<br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br /> <br />on:GINAl <br /> <br />(7/15/88) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />10876 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing free legal assistance to seniors <br /> <br />and families of modest income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS { the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County the sum of TWO <br /> <br />THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/lOa DOLLARS ($2,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of <br /> <br />San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10876 <br />
