<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />DAS:mma 8/5/88 (#23/004) <br />AUG 81988 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />10848 <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICES CENTER <br />ROOF REPLACEMENT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10824, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 11, 1988, the <br /> <br />Ci ty Clerk called for bids for Municipal Services Center Roof <br /> <br />Replacement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />Roofing <br /> <br />Systems, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Leandro, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to State <br /> <br />Roofing Systems, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of State Roofing Systems, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />One Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-eight and <br /> <br />No/lOa Dollars <br /> <br />($161,328.00) , <br /> <br />computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposals for Municipal Services Center Roof Replacement <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />those certain agreement entitled "Agreement Municipal Services <br /> <br />Center Roof Replacement" by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and State Roofing System, Inc., for the performance of said work <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />proposal, <br /> <br />10848 <br />
