<br />SW(":djk 07/20/88 <br /> <br />1 0 83 6 <br /> <br />(#21) <br />JUl 2 5 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT TO ALLOW LUMBER STORAGE <br />AND EMPLOYEE PARKING ON CERTAIN CITY OWNED REAL <br />PROPERTY (SHANNON WAY PLAYGROUND) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, W.E. Lyons Construction Co., Oakland, California, <br /> <br />has requested permission to utilize a portion of the future <br /> <br />Shannon Way Playground, located at Shannon Way and Davit Lane, <br /> <br />owned by the City of Redwood City for the storage of lumber and <br /> <br />employee parking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, <br /> <br />subject to certain specified terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable encroachment permit to W.E. Lyons Construction Co., for <br /> <br />the storage of lumber and employee parking on a portion of the <br /> <br />future Shannon Way Playground located at Davit Lane and Shannon <br /> <br />Way, which permit shall not be effective until such time as W.E. <br /> <br />Lyons Construction Co. executes an acceptance of its terms and <br /> <br />conditions. <br /> <br />2. The permit herein granted shall be in the form of that <br /> <br />certain permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Permit - Shannon Way <br /> <br />Playground" (form dated 07/20/88), which form is attached hereto <br /> <br />as "Exhibit A" and incorporated herein by reference, including <br /> <br />the description of that property subject to said permit, which is <br /> <br />set forth in "Exhibit A" of said permit. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 0836 <br />
