<br />SWC:hil 07/06/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10819 <br /> <br />JUL 1 1 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />EMPLOYERS AND DISTRIBUTORS <br />RELATIONS SERVICES <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AND INDUSTRIAL <br />ASSOCIATION RELATING TO LABOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires specialized <br /> <br />services in the area of labor relations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage <br /> <br />Industrial Employers and Distributors Association <br /> <br />(" IEDA") , <br /> <br />Emeryville, California to perform such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />approval <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to which <br /> <br />IEDA will <br /> <br />provide <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />above-referenced services to City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty and IEDA entitled "Agreement - Labor Relations Services" <br /> <br />(form dated 07/06/88), a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk and to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10819 <br />
