<br />DAS'~jl 4/28/88 (#22) <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 2 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~o.10782 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTING OF SITE <br />AND LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS AT HOOVER SCHOOL PARK; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10749, adopted March 28, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for constructing of site and <br /> <br />lighting improvements at the Hoover School Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, eight bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wingard Engineering, Fremont, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Wingard Engineering; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Wingard Engineering, in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-two and No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars ($178,562.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated April 26, 1988, for constructing of site and <br /> <br />lighting improvements at Hoover School Park, is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Constructing of Site and <br /> <br />Lighting Improvements at Hoover School Park in Redwood City", by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Wingard Engineering, for <br /> <br />10782 <br />
