<br />DAS~g~l 04/08/88 (#22) <br /> <br />10766 <br /> <br />ORiGH~AL <br />APR 1 1 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE T.E.W.C.I. <br />SENIOR CENTER ADDITION TO THE FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORKS; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10726, adopted March 7, <br /> <br />1988, the City Clerk called for bids for construction of the <br /> <br />T. E. W. C. 1. Senior Center Addition to the Fair Oaks Community <br /> <br />Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arthur Bros., Inc., San Mateo, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Arthur Bros., Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Bid of Arthur Bros., Inc. in the sum of Nine <br /> <br />Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Eight Hundred and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($955,800.00), for all of said construction work including <br /> <br />Additive Alternatives Nos. 1, 2 and 3, computed in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated April 5, 1988, is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement T. E. W. C. 1. Senior Center <br /> <br />Addi tion to the Fair Oaks Community Center", by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Arthur Bros., Inc. for the performance <br /> <br />10766 <br />
