12/7/98 <br /> - ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13527 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> (1) MOBILE RADAR DISPLAY TRAILER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of one (1) mobile radar display trailer for the Police Department of <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Kustom Signals, Inc. of Lenexa, Kansas, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br /> <br />bid of Kustom Signals, Inc.; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Kustom Signals, Inc., for the purchase of one (1) Mobile <br />Radar Display Trailer to the City of Redwood City in the total amount of Fourteen <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Sixteen and 21/100 Dollars ($14,916.21) and in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November 25, 1998, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said mobile radar <br />display trailer. <br /> <br />Reso-551 <br />DES:djk <br />F :/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />11/30/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
