<br />SWC:djk 03/02/88 (#21) <br />MAR '7 1988 <br />ORIGINAl <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 72 4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR MARINE PARKWAY/SHOREWAY <br />ROAD TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10705, adopted December <br /> <br />21, 1987, the City Clerk called for bids for the Marine <br /> <br />Parkway/Shoreway Road Traffic Signal Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rosendin Electric, Inc., San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Rosendin Electric, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Rosendin Electric, Inc. in the lump sum of <br /> <br />Eighty-four Thousand One Hundred Twenty-eight and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($84,128.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />March 1, 1988, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Marine Parkway/Shoreway <br /> <br />Road Traffic Signal Project", by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Rosendin Electric, Inc. for the performance of said work <br /> <br />in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />1 0724 <br />
