<br />DAE. t 01/29/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10713 <br /> <br />ORfGfNAl <br />FEB 1 1988 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF EMERGENCY <br />GENERATORS AND RELATED TRANSFER SWITCHES FOR USE AT <br />FIRE STATIONS NO. 3 AND 4; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 10554, adopted July 6, 1987 <br />the City Clerk advertised and readvertised for bids for the <br /> <br />purchase of emergency generators and transfer switches for use at <br /> <br />Fire Stations No.3 and 4 ("Generators"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisements, three (3) bids <br /> <br />were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PIM Electric, Inc., Foster City, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of PIM Electric, Inc., Foster City, California <br /> <br />for the sale of Generators at a total bid price of Sixty-three <br /> <br />Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-four and 00/100 Dollars ($63,464.00) <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated January <br /> <br />26, 1988, is hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said Generators; <br /> <br />and the other bid is hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of Generators in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />10713 <br />
