12/7/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13522 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CITY HALL <br /> CATWALK PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13500, adopted October 26, <br />1998, the City Clerk readvertised for bids for the City Hall Catwalk Project in the <br />City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Unistrut Corporation of Redwood City, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Unistrut Corporation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Unistrut Corporation in the amount of Thirty-four Thousand <br /> Eight Hundred Thirty-five and No/100 Dollars ($34,835.00), computed in <br /> accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 24, 1998 for the City Hall <br /> Catwalk Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
