<br />3:nt 11/05/87 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10681 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />NOV 9 19B7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE DESIGNATION OF PORTIONS OF <br />CORDILLERAS ROAD WITHIN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS A <br />COUNTY HIGHWAY; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO RELATING TO FUNDING <br />RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE <br />OF ROAD RESURFACING ON CORDILLERAS ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is authorized pursuant to <br /> <br />Sections 1800 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code to lay <br /> <br />out, acquire and construct any section or portion of any street <br /> <br />or highway within the territorial jurisdiction of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo <br /> <br />have, pursuant to Sections 1700 et seq. of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, declared, (subject to the consent of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City), that portions of Cordilleras Road situated within <br /> <br />the territory of the City of Redwood City, (as more particularly <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein as if set out in full herein), to be a county <br /> <br />highway of the County of San Mateo for the purposes of road <br /> <br />resurfacing improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that those portions <br /> <br />of Cordilleras Road described in Exhibit "A", be declared and <br /> <br />established as a county highway of the County of San Mateo for <br /> <br />the purposes of road resurfacing improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is willing to implement the <br /> <br />abovementioned improvements by entering into an agreement with <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City pursuant to which the City of Redwood <br /> <br />agrees and consents to pay approximately Twenty One Thousand and <br /> <br />No/lOO Dollars ($21,000.00) including contract change orders and <br /> <br />10681 <br />
