<br />SW~:sb 11/5/87 (#0) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 tilt 8 <br /> <br />NOV <br /> <br />9 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT SAFETY VESTS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of safety vests for the Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lathrop's Shooters Supply, Inc., Tuscon, Arizona is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Lathrop's Shooters Supply, Inc., for the <br /> <br />sale of 104 safety vests at a total bid price of Thirty Thousand <br /> <br />Four Hundred Eleven and 42/100 Dollars ($30,411.42) computed in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 9, 1987, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said safety vests; and all <br /> <br />other bids are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said safety vests in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10678 <br />
