<br />~ ~ S: SB 10/22/87 (# 0) <br /> <br />OCT 2 6 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 668 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CARSON RESERVOIR STRUCTURAL <br />ROOF REPAIRS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10659, adopted by the <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on October 13, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for Carson Reservoir Structural Roof <br /> <br />Repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Beals, Martin & Associates, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Beals, <br /> <br />Martin & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Beals, Martin & Associates, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of One Hundred Fifty-one Thousand Five Hundred and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($151,500.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />Carson Reservoir Structural Repairs, is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Carson Reservoir <br /> <br />Structural Roof Repairs" by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and Beals, Martin & Associates, Inc., for the performance of said <br /> <br />work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy <br /> <br />10668 <br />
