11/23/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13520 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF <br /> CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON <br /> NOVEMBER 3, 1998 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, by Resolution No. 13370, duly <br />passed and adopted on June 22, 1998, called for a special municipal election <br />held on Tuesday November 3, 1998 and requested consolidation thereof with the <br />California statewide election; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Section 10263, <br />the County Clerk has canvassed the returns and forwarded to the City Clerk the <br />certified results thereof for the special municipal election held on Tuesday, <br />November 3, 1998; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, and is hereby, <br />instructed to enter this resolution in the minutes of this Council as a statement of <br />the result of said election. <br /> <br /> 2. The number of voters who cast their ballots at said special municipal <br />election was 17,693. <br /> <br /> 3.
