<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />j:nt 9/9/87 (#20) <br />SEP 1 4 1987 <br />1 0 633 ORIGINAL <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR COMMUNITY <br />CARE FACILITY LICENSE (KIDS KLUB PROGRAM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Care Facility Act, <br /> <br />California Health and Safety Code ~~1500 et seq., and the Rules <br /> <br />and Regulations of the State of California Department of Social <br /> <br />Services, <br /> <br />promulgated <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />thereto, <br /> <br />(22 <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />Administrative Code ~~86001 et seq.), the City and the State have <br /> <br />determined that the Kids Klub Program at Roosevelt Elementary <br /> <br />School is now classified as a Community Care Facility, and <br /> <br />requires a Community Care Facility License to operate; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has operated the Kids Klub successfully <br /> <br />since February of 1987, and this Council desires to continue said <br /> <br />operation and to authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and <br /> <br />Communi ty Services to complete an application to the State for <br /> <br />said license; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to complete and submit an <br /> <br />application to the State of California Department of Social <br /> <br />Services for the purpose of obtaining a Community Care Facility <br /> <br />License for the operation of the Kids Klub Program, and to <br /> <br />execute any and all agreements required pursuant to the obtaining <br /> <br />of such a license. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 0 63 3 <br />
