<br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 4 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />10620 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CELEBRATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR PROMOTIONAL' SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Celebration Association is an organization that <br /> <br />provides promotional services to public entities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has determined that community <br /> <br />promotion is vital to the present and future well-being of all segments <br /> <br />of the public of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement with the <br /> <br />Peninsula Celebration Association by which certain promotional activities <br /> <br />will be undertaken by the Association in consideration of the payment of <br /> <br />the sum of Eight Thousand and NO/100 Dollars (8,000.00) to Association; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Peninsula Celebration Association, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />~ {) 620 <br />
