<br />ORIGINAL. <br /> <br />AUG 10 1987 <br /> <br />(07-15-87) <br /> <br />--------------------------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 606 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH VOLUNTEER CENTER OF SAN MATEO COUNTY (R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing volunteer placement <br /> <br />services for senior cltizens in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Volunteer Center of San Mateo County, (R.S.V.P,) has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1987 and ending. <br /> <br />June 30. 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) the <br /> <br />sum of THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/lOa DOLLARS ($3,850.00) <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS. there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Volunteer Center of San <br /> <br />Mateo County (R.S.V.P ), and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1 0 606 <br />
