<br />AUG 10 1987 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7/15/87) <br /> <br />------------------------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />1 0598 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing free legal assistance to seniors <br /> <br />and families of modest income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County the sum of TWO <br /> <br />THOUSAND FIVE. HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of <br /> <br />San Mateo County. and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1 0598 <br />
