<br />r~S:djk 7/2/87 #20 <br /> <br />ORIGiNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0552 <br /> <br />JUL 6 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION <br />PURPOSES <br /> <br />(REDWOOD CITY GLASS COMPANY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of Main Library <br /> <br />facilities and related storm water drainage improvements and <br /> <br />appurtenances (the "Project"), the City of Redwood City requires <br /> <br />the use of certain property hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property required by the City is a portion of a <br /> <br />parcel of property subject to a leasehold under agreement between <br /> <br />Redwood City Glass Company, a partnership, and George L. Solari, <br /> <br />currently owner of record of said property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency proposes to <br /> <br />approve an agreement for the acquisition of said property from <br /> <br />George L. Solari, and said Agency is willing to permit the use of <br /> <br />a portion of said property by the City of Redwood City for the <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a license <br /> <br />agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty Glass Company providing for the occupancy and use of a <br /> <br />portion of said leasehold interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "License Agreement" by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City Glass <br /> <br />10552 <br />
