10/26/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13496 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD CREEK <br /> CONCRETE WALL REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13460, adopted September 21, <br />1998, the City Clerk readvertised for bids for the Redwood Creek Concrete Wall <br />Replacement Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said readvertisement, twelve bids were received <br />for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Casey Construction of Redwood City, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Casey Construction.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Casey Construction in the amount of Two Hundred Thirty- <br />eight Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-four and No/100 Dollars ($238,984.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated October 7, 1998 for the <br />Redwood Creek Concrete Wall Replacement Project, is hereby accepted and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />said work. <br /> <br />Reso-527 <br />DES:djk <br />F :/SharedlRedwoodlCouncil <br />1 o/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
