0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13484 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Midpeiffnsula Citizens for Fair Housing (Contractor) conducts a fair <br /> <br />housing counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Seven Thousand and no/100 Dollars <br />($37,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, tiffs Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Fair Housing Counseling <br /> Program" (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br /> <br />
