<br />SWC:sh 6/16/87 (#19) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO.I0543 <br /> <br />JUN 2 2 1987 <br /> <br />ORfG1N,~l <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA: <br />SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br />INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION: <br />AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED <br />VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Lot 3, Block 2, <br /> <br />Friend Industrial Tract is not needed for present or prospective <br /> <br />public service purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public service easement as hereinafter described, and <br /> <br />elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is described <br /> <br />on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference. <br /> <br />3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, July 20, 1987, at <br /> <br />the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 <br /> <br />Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, is the time and place <br /> <br />10543 <br />
