<br />DAS:sh 5/27/87 (#19) <br /> <br />JUN 1 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10513 <br /> <br />ORIGINAl <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION AND <br />PLANTING DOLPHIN PARK RENOVATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10478, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on April 13, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for base and alternative bids for the Landscape <br /> <br />Construction and Planting Dolphin Park Renovation Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, base and alternative bids <br /> <br />were received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br /> <br />City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, B&B Landscape Contractors, Inc., Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible base bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said base bid to <br /> <br />B&B Landscape Contractors, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The base bid of B&B Landscape Contractors, Inc. in the <br /> <br />total amount of Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-one and No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars ($40,931.00), computed in accordance with said base <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated May 12, 1987, for Landscape Construction <br /> <br />and Planting Dolphin Park Renovation Project, is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible base bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Landscape Construction and <br /> <br />10513 <br />
