<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />SWC:s~ 5/27/87 (#19) <br />JUN 1 1987 <br />No.1 0 511 ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SUBLEASE AGREEMENT WITH HERBERT HOOVER BOYS AND GIRLS <br />CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into an agreement <br /> <br />wi th the Redwood City School District, whereby the City leases <br /> <br />from the School District certain land and facilities at the <br /> <br />Hoover School in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council is desirous of sub-leasing a portion <br /> <br />of the aforesaid premises to the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls <br /> <br />Club for the purpose of enabling the Club to construct and <br /> <br />operate a clubhouse and related facilities thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement for sublease of a portion of the Hoover School Park to <br /> <br />the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and to <br /> <br />authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Sublease Agreement A <br /> <br />Portion of Hoover School Park" (form date 3/30/87R), by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and the Herbert Hoover Boys and <br /> <br />Girls Club, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, and to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10511 <br />
