<br />DES:sh '-/12/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br /> <br />MAY 18 1987 <br /> <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />VANS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0503 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of two (2) Vans for use by the Engineering Division of the <br /> <br />Department of Community Development and the Police Department, <br /> <br />respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of Mission Valley Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford of San Jose, California, <br /> <br />in the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-four and <br /> <br />36/100 Dollars ($25,844.36), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated May 5, 1987, for the sale of two (2) Vans is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said Vans. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said Vans in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br /> <br />10,503 <br /> <br />, . <br />
