""......... <br /> <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF LAPTOP <br />COMPUTERS; AND AUTHORI ZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />f <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />Laptop Computers for use by the Redwood City Police Department; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Heal th/ Zeni th Computers and Electronics, Redwood <br /> <br />City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br /> <br />Health/Zenith Computers and Electronics; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Heal th/ Zenith Computers and Electronics, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, for two (2) Laptop Computer units with <br /> <br />modems in the amount of Two Thousand Fifty-two and 20/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($2,052.20) per unit and twenty-three (23) units without modems <br /> <br />in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-seven and <br /> <br />20/100 Dollars ($1,757.20) per unit, computed in accordance with <br /> <br />said bidder's proposal dated April 28, 1987, for the sale of <br /> <br />Laptop Computer units is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said Laptop Computers. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said Laptop Computers in accordance with the <br /> <br />J0502 <br />
