0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13474 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> THREE (3) HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br /> the purchase of three (3) Harley-Davidson motorcycles for the Police Department <br /> of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Dron Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Inc. of Oakland, <br /> California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br /> Council to accept the bid of Bob Dron Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. The bid of Bob Dron Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Inc., in the total <br />amount of Forty-four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-two and 80/100 Dollars <br />($44,752.80), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />September 15, 1998 for the sale of three (3) Harley-Davidson police <br />motorcycles, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference <br />is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said <br /> <br />Reso-512 <br />DES:djk 1 <br />G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />09/22198 <br /> <br /> <br />
