ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10362, adopted October <br /> <br />27, 1986, this Council initiated proceedings pursuant to the <br /> <br />Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of <br /> <br />1985, <br /> <br />Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 of the California <br /> <br />Government Code, for the annexation to the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />of certain hereinafter described territory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo adopted its Resolution No. 756 on February 18, 1987, <br /> <br />making determinations and approving the proposed annexation to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City of said territory as described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved said <br /> <br />annexation without conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the reasons for this annexation are to provide <br /> <br />sewer service to one of the parcels in the territory and to <br /> <br />include wi thin the City boundaries the surrounding properties <br /> <br />which already receive City services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the regular County Assessment Roll is utilized by <br /> <br />this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for <br /> <br />existing general bonded indebtedness of this City; and <br /> <br />10482 <br />
