<br />DAS:SD 2/05/87 <br /> <br />(#18) <br /> <br />Ul4 2. 2 <br /> <br />FEB 9 1987 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CITY SYCAMORE TREE SPRAYING <br />1987; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10409, adopted January <br /> <br />20, 1987, the City Clerk called for bids for spraying of City <br /> <br />sycamore trees - 1987, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for said <br /> <br />spraying and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Noonan Tree Care, Inc. Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Noonan Tree Care, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Noonan Tree Care, Inc. at a rate of Eight <br /> <br />and 15/100 ($8.15) per tree, computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated January 31, 1987, for the spraying of City <br /> <br />sycamore trees is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />spraying. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />spraying of City sycamore trees in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10422 <br /> <br />'"' ..., <br />
