<br />DAS:sp 1/8/87 (#18) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0401 <br /> <br />ORIG\NAl <br />JAN 1~ 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING FINAL MAP OF <br />BOARDWALK UNIT NO. 2 SUBDIVISION, REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; <br />CONDITIONALLY APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS THEREOF; AND APPROVING <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain final map of Boardwalk Unit No. 2 <br /> <br />subdivision in the City of Redwood City, prepared by Brian, <br /> <br />Kangas, Foulk & Associates for W.W. Dean Associates, owners of <br /> <br />record of said subdivision, heretofore determined by the City <br /> <br />Engineer as conforming to the tentative map for said subdivision, <br /> <br />is approved, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) Before the release of said final map by the City <br />of Redwood City (" Ci ty") for recordation, the owners or <br />subdividers (hereinafter "OWners" shall mean the owners or <br />subdividers, as specified in the application for approval of <br />the subdivision) of said subdivision shall enter into and <br />execute that certain proposed subdivision agreement on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk, entitled "Agreement for the <br />Improvement of Board Walk Unit No. 2 Subdivision" wherein <br />Owners, in consideration of the approval of said map by <br />Ci ty, shall agree to construct and complete in the time <br />specified in said agreement, all improvements required of <br />OWners under the provisions of Chapter 30 of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, being the subdivision regulations of <br />said City, and such other improvements designated or <br />mentioned in said agreement. <br /> <br />(b) Before the release of said final map by City for <br />recordation, the Owners shall furnish to City and file with <br />the City Clerk a good and sufficient security in a form <br />subject to the approval of the City Attorney, securing the <br />faithful performance of said Owners of all work and <br />construction of all improvements designated or mentioned in <br />said agreement, within the time therein specified, the <br />amount of said security to be One Million Seven Hundred <br />Fifty Thousand and No/I00 Dollars ($1,750,000.00); and shall <br />also furnish to City and file with the City Clerk, a good <br />and sufficient security in a form subject to the approval of <br />the City Attorney securing the payment by Owners of all <br /> <br />0401 <br />
