<br />DAS:sh 10/28/86 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 3 6 8 <br /> <br />NOV 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />AGREEMENT FOR BASKETBALL OFFICIATING <br />1986-87 ADULT BASKETBALL PROGRAM <br /> <br />EXECUTION <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />OF <br />FOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Agreement has been presented to the City to <br /> <br />provide refereeing and scorekeeping services for the 1986-87 <br /> <br />adult basketball program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Umpires Association has provided <br /> <br />professional basketball officiating services for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for the past thirteen (13) years which has greatly <br /> <br />reduced the administration costs associated with adult recreation <br /> <br />programs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain Agreement entitled, "Agreement for Basketball <br /> <br />Officiating Services" (form dated 10/28/86), a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />I03{j~ <br />
