<br />DAS: sh <br />DAS:sh <br /> <br />10/23/86 <br />lO/27/86R <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 27 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ o. 1 0 3 6 4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SIDEWALK REPAIR AND TREE <br />PROGRAM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86 AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10253 adopted July 21, <br /> <br />1986, the City Director of Public Works was directed to revise <br /> <br />and readvertise the call for bids for the sidewalk repair and <br /> <br />tree program for fiscal year 1985-86. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Golden Bay Construction, Inc., Belmont, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said Golden Bay <br /> <br />Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The base bid of Golden Bay Construction, Inc. in the <br /> <br />sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Fifty-eight and 50/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($450,058.50) and work unit bids for Work Unit No. 1 and Work <br /> <br />Unit No.2, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />October 21, 1986, for the sidewalk repair and tree program for <br /> <br />the fiscal year 1985-86, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled II Agreement Sidewalk Repair and Tree <br /> <br />Program Fiscal Year 1985-86,11 by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty and Golden Bay Construction, Inc., for the performance of <br /> <br />said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, <br /> <br />l036~ <br />
