<br />DAS:sh 9/17/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />1034~ <br /> <br />SEP 2 2 1986 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />APPROXIMATELY SIXTY-ONE (61) 6'x 6' INDUCTIVE LOOPS FOR <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of approximately sixty-one (61) 6'x 6' inductive loops for <br /> <br />traffic signals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, three (3) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of said inductive loops; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Signal Maintenance, Inc., Anaheim, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Signal Maintenance, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Signal Maintenance, Inc., in the approximate <br /> <br />sum of Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Forty and No/100 Dollars <br />($14,640.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />August 6, 1986, for the sale of approximately sixty-one (61) 6'x <br /> <br />6 I inductive loops for traffic signals is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder <br /> <br />for said inductive loops. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said inductive loops in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />llU349 <br />
