<br />SEP 8 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U '1' JON <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10334 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />R~SOLVTIP~ APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ~XECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CELEBRATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR PROMO'l'IONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Celebration Association is an organization that <br /> <br />provides promotional services to public entities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has determined that community <br /> <br />promotion is vital to the present and future well-being of all segments <br /> <br />of the public of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement with the <br /> <br />Peninsula Celebration Association by which certain promotional activities <br /> <br />will be undertaken by the Association in consideration of the payment of <br /> <br />the sum of Five Thousand and No/IOO Dollars (5,000.00) to Association; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Per,illsula Celebration Association, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />fur full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> <br />thc' City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />10384 <br />
