<br />Ii E SOL UTI 0 N NO. <br /> <br />l_O~_~_ 9. <br /> <br />RESOl.U'l'ION AUTHORIZING EXtCUTION OF AGHEEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE C 1 'T'Y OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE HEDWooD CITY-SAN <br />MATEO COUNTY-CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, RELATING TO THE <br />GENEHAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF LOCAL INDUSTRY <br />AND COMMERCE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />~IEREAS, the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce has <br /> <br />requested the City of Redwood City to contribute certain monies during <br /> <br />the fiscal year July 1, 1986 - June 30, ]987, for the maintenance and <br /> <br />improvement of the economy of the City of Redwood City by the general <br /> <br />development and promotion of local industry and commerce in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council to authorize <br /> <br />the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce providing for a <br /> <br />payment of Thirty Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($30,000.00) to the Redwood <br /> <br />City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />such above stated purposes for the fiscal year July 1, 1986 - June 30, <br /> <br />1987; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS; <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/2/86), by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />relating to the general development and promotion of local industry and <br /> <br />commerce in the City of Redwood City, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and <br /> <br />conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />SiP <br /> <br />8 1986 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />{~B:32 <br />
