<br />SWC:sh 8/29/86 <br /> <br />SEP 8 19~b <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10327 <br /> <br />(13) ORIGINAL <br /> <br />PICKUP TRUCKS; AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS <br />THEREFOR; AND AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO <br />SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR FINANCING THEREOF <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIRTEEN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />specifications for thirteen (13) pickup trucks in eight (8) <br /> <br />different configurations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval <br /> <br />thereof and authorize the City Clerk to call for bids for said <br /> <br />trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has determined that <br /> <br />financing said equipment from financial institutions through a <br /> <br />lease-purchase arrangement may be more cost advantageous than <br /> <br />direct purchase; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain documents entitled as follows: <br /> <br />1. "City of Redwood City Specifications for Two 1 Ton <br /> <br />Pickup Trucks with Utility Bodies and Liftgates" <br /> <br />2. "City of Redwood City Specifications for One 1 Ton <br /> <br />Pickup Truck with Utility Body" <br /> <br />3. "City of Redwood City Specifications for One 1 Ton <br /> <br />Pickup Truck with Utility Body and Air Compressor" <br /> <br />4. "City of Redwood City Specifications for Two 1 Ton <br /> <br />Pickup Trucks with Utility Bodies" <br /> <br />10:127 <br />
